Ford Ranger Lift Kits & Suspension in Houston, TX

The Ranger is a right-sized midsize that punches above its weight on a clean 2-to-3-inch build. We spec it like any IFS truck — matched components, corrected front geometry, and an alignment every time — so it gains clearance without losing the manners that make it a great daily.

A Ford Ranger Suspension Lift Built for the Platform

The Ranger came back to the U.S. lineup as a properly modern midsize, and it is a genuinely good base for a clean build. Independent front, leaf-sprung rear, and enough room for a real 32 or 33 with the right lift. But it is still an IFS truck, which means the same rules apply: spacers without geometry correction make it ride worse and wear tires.

Our Ranger suspension lift builds use matched front components, upper control arms when the height calls for them, and a rear setup that stays level under load — finished with an alignment. The goal is more capability with the daily-driver manners intact.

Whether it is a base XLT, an FX4, a Tremor, or a Ranger Raptor, the build starts the same way: we walk the truck, ask how you use it, and spec the parts that belong together for your exact model.

Ford Ranger Lift Kit & Leveling Options

From a clean level to a full 3-inch build, these are the four Ranger setups we run most. Where you land comes down to tire size and how you use the truck.

Daily Level

Ranger Leveling Kit

A front level kills the rake and clears a slightly larger tire without changing the ride much — the affordable first move, and we still align it. See our leveling kit service for the full rundown.

Most Popular

Ranger Lift Kit, 2–3"

A full lift kit with matched front components, UCAs where needed, and a rear setup that stays level. The build that clears a true 32 or 33 and handles real dirt without beating you up.

Tuned Ride

Ranger Coilover Upgrade

Adjustable coilovers from Fox, King, and ICON for ride-height adjustment and better high-speed and trail damping — a popular step for FX4 and Tremor owners who push the truck.

Fitment

Ranger Wheels & Tires

Offset and backspacing decide whether a 33 clears or rubs. We dial wheels and tires to your build, mount and balance, and reset TPMS so the dash stays quiet.

Ford Ranger Lift Fitment by Generation

The U.S. Ranger has two modern generations plus the Raptor, and they do not all build the same. Front clearance, rear setup, and the driver-assist electronics all shift what the right kit looks like. Here is what actually changes.

We confirm clearance at full lock and droop, use verified-fit parts per generation, and recalibrate any forward-facing sensors the lift affects so it drives home clean.

2019–2023 (P375)

The Ranger's modern return. Independent front, leaf rear, and a strong aftermarket. Takes a 2-to-3-inch lift cleanly with UCAs; 32s and 33s fit with light trimming. A proven, easy platform to build.

New Gen · 2024+

A wider, more refined truck with more electronics on the same IFS-front, leaf-rear layout. Lifts much like the prior gen with platform-specific kits. We recalibrate the driver-assist aim the lift affects.

Ranger Raptor

Factory long-travel, coil-sprung rear, and Fox Live Valve dampers — the most capable Ranger from the lot. We focus on tires, armor, and lighting rather than re-lifting suspension Ford already dialed.

What a Lifted Ranger Lift Kit Does Best

A built Ranger on 33s is a nimble, efficient midsize that handles Texas dirt and daily duty with ease. Here is where that capability tops out.

Handles Confidently

  • Fire roads, lease roads, and maintained dirt
  • Moderate trails where the line is clear
  • Mud, ruts, and crossings at reasonable depth
  • Overlanding and camp roads with gear
  • Daily driving and highway, fully retained
  • Sand and high-speed dirt with the right shocks

Where It Reaches Its Limit

  • Hardcore technical crawling — IFS droop limits flex
  • Deep mud once 33s start spinning
  • Obstacles needing a front locker and big articulation
  • Big-tire builds that skip gearing and feel sluggish
✓ The Honest Version

The Ranger is the efficient, easy-to-live-with midsize, and a clean 3-inch build covers Texas leases, overlanding, and daily duty beautifully. If your goal is serious rock crawling, a solid-axle rig is the right tool — and we will tell you that before you spend a dime.

Ford Ranger Lift Kit Questions, Answered

Most Rangers do best on a 2-to-3-inch suspension lift, which clears a 32 or 33-inch tire and keeps the truck driving like a Ranger. The independent front means upper control arms help once you are past about 2 inches. Bigger is possible, but a 3-inch lift is the practical sweet spot for clearance versus ride and driveline angles.
A 2-to-3-inch lift clears a 32 or 33-inch tire on most Rangers, usually with minor liner trimming. The Tremor and Raptor sit a little higher and run bigger rubber from the factory. We confirm fitment for your exact model year and wheel offset before ordering so it does not rub at full lock.
On a mild level, usually not. At a full 3-inch lift, aftermarket upper control arms restore the front geometry and let the truck align properly, which protects the ride and the tires. We will tell you whether your build needs them based on height and how you drive.
Yes. The 2019 to 2023 Ranger and the new 2024-plus generation both lift well with platform-specific kits. The Ranger Raptor is a different animal: it comes with factory long-travel, a coil-sprung rear, and Fox Live Valve dampers, so we focus on tires, armor, and dialing it rather than re-lifting what Ford already engineered.
A leveling kit gives you a level stance and a slightly larger tire affordably, which suits a daily driver. A full lift opens up a true 32 or 33, more clearance, and better off-road manners. We point you to the right one based on the tire size and how you use the truck.
Done right, no. Quality components, the correct control arms, and a four-wheel alignment keep it composed and the tires wearing evenly. Big tires can make any midsize feel a little lazy, so if you go large we will talk about gearing. We factor towing and daily use into the spec before anything goes on.
